Le Garcon by Louis Calmet offers a modern, nostalgic spin on perfumery. Of the unisex trio, Razes No.1 is the standout for me: a fresh-cut flower bouquet opening with bright orange, lime and petitgrain, moving into a floral heart of rose and lily of the valley, and settling on a clean woody base of sandalwood and cedarwood. It’s light, airy and quietly elegant for easy spring/summer wear.
After stumbling upon this perfume house through social media,I decided to try out their sample set. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique scent profile of the set and Razes stood out to me followed by Altitude. I believe Louis has done a fantastic job creating these magnificent scents and I will consider getting my hands on a full size bottle. Bravo
As a collector, I always lookout for new artistic formulations in Perfumes and history of the inspiration behind a new scent.
I came across this house releases and picked up the discovery set.
I must say Bois de Chêne particularly stood out for me. The sillage is modestly arms length and longevity is very good on skin but better on clothes.
Elegant boozy, smokey woods and subtle vanillic sweetness. There's a creamy airy bubble that burst out in the dry down that lingers for hours with a minty according or spices.
Gives the aura of dressing up for an evening but then just decide to stay home with a cigar and a book, near a crackling fireplace.
You can dress it up or down. Best for colder weather or evenings.
Can't wait to see more of their creations in the future.
I was not expecting this level of quality! The fragrances last long long time but most importantly each and every one of them takes you on a very different journey. In love with all 3!!!!
These fragrances are really great. Layered and interesting and quite different to many on the market. Amazing quality for this this price point - the discovery set is the way to go to find out which one or ones are for you. Love love love ❤️
